Collection from MQP or KMIA:

f you’re flying into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, your Game Ranger will pick you up off your midday flight. Then there’s a leisurely 40 minute drive up to the Kruger National Park, where we enter the game-rich Southern region of the park by the Numbi Gate.

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp

From Numbi Gate we drive north east towards Skukuza on the Numbi to Skukuza road stopping off at the many waterholes along the way, viewing plenty of game as we do. Many animals move towards water in the hot afternoon sun, and you’ll see herds of Impala and Waterbuck on the banks of the river. When we pass a shallow section of the river you may see a family of Hippos sleeping in the river, a sharp lookout being kept by the head of the family. Crocodiles are dotted about on the banks of the river, basking in the sun. By the time we arrive at Skukuza, the largest camp in the Kruger National Park, you will have had a good idea of what’s to follow in the next few days.

You’ll be booking into Skukuza Camp before the gates close for the night, and after checking in you’ll get a chance to freshen up in your luxury guest house, before joining your guide for drinks and dinner served by your own chef under the African sky. Enjoy traditional African cuisine while listening to the call of a Hyena or the roar of a Lion.

Days 2: Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp (B/L/ D)

Everything starts early in the Kruger park in order to have a greater chance of seeing game, so you’ll get a wake-up call at 05h00 in order to get on the road when the gates open at 06h00. We will then enjoy a morning drive until 09h00am returning to your guest house for a good South African breakfast prepared by your personal chef.

Once again we depart on a game drive until 12h30pm returning to camp for a siesta before enjoying a light lunch served by your chef at 14h00pm. After lunch it is time to relax or visit the parks curio shops for some serious shopping or sit down at the river enjoying the peace and solitude of watching Hippo frolicking in the pools or a crocodile catching the sun on a sand bank. At 16h45pm, its time to depart on an exciting, personal sunset drive. A National Parks ranger will be in charge of the three-hour night drive in an open sided truck exclusively for your own use.

You get back to Skukuza at 20h00pm, in time for dinner, which you can enjoy in the open air, listening to the never to be forgotten night sounds of the African bush.

Day 3: Kruger Park – Skukuza Camp (B/L/D)

After an early morning wake-up call at 06h00am you head out for another game drive before returning to camp for another scrumptious breakfast prepared by your personal chef at your guest house. After breakfast we leave the camp once again on another game drive, returning to camp for lunch at 13h30pm. Time to enjoy a siesta, or relax in front of the river. At 15h30pm your guide will call you for another game drive taking time to look for those elusive cats and large herds of elephants, while making his way to a lookout point where you will be able to enjoy a sundowner while watching the African sun set. We return to camp before gate closing time and return to your guest house, where your Chef is already preparing your dinner and is ready to serve you drinks while you sit and chat about the days events with your guide. Dinner is another traditional affair after which it is time to enjoy a good nights rest.

Day 4: Kruger Park – Johannesburg – Airport

This morning after breakfast and another exhilarating game drive, we slowly make our way out of the park by 11h00am and return either to Johannesburg or Nelspruit for your return flight to Johannesburg.
